David Newman is the Executive Director, Student Experience at the University of Toronto. Previously he has held other roles at U of T, including as Director, Student Life and Interim Director, Centre for Community Partnerships. Prior to his time at U of T, David worked for several years at the University of Alberta in various capacities. David hold both a Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology/French) and Master of Education (Adult Education) from the University of Alberta. In addition to his current role on IASAS. David has also held several leadership roles nationally, including previously serving as the President for the Canadian Association of College and University Student Services (CACUSS).
