My current position as Group Manager Campus Life at The University of The South Pacific ( Fiji Islands) is to provide leadership and direction for the University in strategizing sustainable models of delivery in terms of student experience and services.
This requires a considerable level of both strategizing and hands on project management with staff to identify sustainable models of delivery of various services and products within a higher Education context.
Some of the student service areas currently under my portfolio include USP Orientation; Disability Services and Development; Student Health and Wellness Services; Career and Entrepreneurial Services; Counselling; First Year Student Experience; Student off campus Accommodation Services; Sports and Recreational Services; Campus Life Activities including Student Bar; Market Days; Family days; Health week and large Community fundraising events such as “ Bands by The Beach” ; Pan Pacific Development; Religious issues in partnership with the USP Chaplain and Student Associations (USPSA Local and federal) engagement and relationships.
