Oceania Regional Coordinators:

The international IASAS Board includes a Regional Director for Oceania who seek to connect student affairs practitioners, and promote professional development opportunities in Oceania.

  • Andrea Strachan (based in Australia) – representing Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific nations including Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, PNG, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu.
  • The Region requires a number of colleagues to come together to form an Oceania Team with a focus on sharing news, successes, opportunities and challenges across our many institutions and vast region.  We are currently looking for colleagues to assist with our work:
    • Regional Communications Coordinator
    • Regional Coordinator(s)
    • Regional Membership Coordinator

The success of our activity in supporting and building capacity across student affairs in the Region, is based on the input and assistance from many colleagues.

Our intention is to provide webinars, podcasts and mentoring. Members are also encouraged to access the regional group through the IASAS website to connect with our Oceania community and share news about research projects, professional focus groups, and other upcoming development and networking activities and events.
